Anybody can be a Full time Officer, as long as you can work full time from June 2025 – June 2026. This might mean talking to your department to see if you can take a sabbatical year, or your degree might be coming to an end.
For all other roles, you need to be a student in the 2025-26 academic year. For Postgraduate Taught students studying for one year, the elections in TB1 2025 will have plenty of representative roles to stand for.
If you’re interested in standing for more than one role, the chart below outlines your options! We also have an accessible version for screen readers.
We have lots of roles, so it can get quite confusing - if you are unsure, please email bristolsu-elections@bristol.ac.uk
