Coombe Dingle will be the heart of the action on Derby Day!
Expect live matches in every direction you look, from Rugby to Hockey, Lacrosse and so much more! Spectators can also enjoy matchside snacks from the coffee and food stands.
In the âDerby Day Hubâ, you can grab a beer at the Hub Bar and watch competitive bouts between some of the universities best fighters in the Combat Sports Ring đ„

Derby Day is Bristol SUâs free festival of sport where athletes and supporters come together to celebrate the end of the winter season!
Throughout the day, 25 Bristol sport teams will face their biggest rivals from their chosen university. For competitors and spectators alike, this day will showcase the very best of the Bristol sporting community on an action-packed day which extends late into the night!
There is no ticket for entry, it's free!
There will be venue-specific sports happening at other locations â like squash. Check the fixture table above for location information before you travel!
Free buses will run regularly from Tyndall Avenue for both spectators and athletes, making it easy for everyone to get involved đ

Limited parking is available at the site if you are making your own way to the action. There are also safe cycle routes along Parryâs Lane.
Spectator food and refreshments are available throughout the day!
You cannot bring your own alcohol, but alcohol will be available to purchase at The Hub at Coombe Dingle. The discounted bar is on site 12.00-21.45 (last service at 21.30). Any alcohol you bring to the venue will be confiscated & disposed of due to licensing laws.
Yes, there is a prayer room on site - upstairs in main pavilion. Please speak to the team in the Main Reception for access.
