Float to Live

If you're struggling in the water, float to live.

Here are 5 steps to know how to float:

  1. Tilt your head back with ears submerged
  2. Relax, and try to breathe normally
  3. Move your hands, to help you stay afloat
  4. It's ok if your legs sink - everyone floats different.
  5. Spread your arms and legs to improve stability.

Floating can help you if you get into a difficult situation in the water. If you're on the shore, tell the struggling person to float while you call for help.
