Join Bristol students and staff to explore the complex relationship between advancing AI tools and sustainable development, and the inner mechanics of Large Language Models (LLMs).

11:30am     Introduction to AI and Sustainability

12:00pm     AI, sustainability and injustices - presented by Lyndsay Grant, Lecturer in Education & Digital Technologies

12:25pm     How LLMs function - presented by Huw Day, Data Science Specialist in the Jean Golding Institute 

12:45pm     Student attitudes and sustainable alternatives in the classroom
