💡City Challenge - City of Sanctuary: Help resolve a real-life challenge! 💡

12:30pm-16:30pm, Wednesday 12 February

🌟Please book a free ticket to attend🌟

City Challenges are a programme of events providing you with the opportunity to engage with charities and social enterprises. You will develop skills by working with other students on real challenges they face.

On the day you will hear from the organisation directly about what they do and the challenge they are putting forward. You will work in groups to develop innovative solutions to the challenge. At the end of the session, you will present your solution to the organisation, and hear what other groups have come up with.

By taking part in a City Challenge, you will gain experience in group working, problem solving, public speaking and presentation, innovative thinking, and community engagement.

The Challenge

The University of Bristol has been a University of Sanctuary since 2019, in recognition of its important work to welcome and support refugee and asylum seeking students in all aspects of university life.

1) What more can be done to raise awareness across the student body and increase peer support for sanctuary seeking students?

2) How can we harness the power of the student body to help fundraise for City of Sanctuary's work?
