Welcome to the Azerbaijan Society official website.

We are a cultural society at Bristol University aiming to bring together Azerbaijani students from all around the world, and share our beautiful culture along the way! Join us to experience Azerbaijani culture and be part of the community. 

Despite being a new society (started in 2023), we have already had several successful social events and collaborations with other cultural societies, and plan to have even more exciting events this year!


This year we plan to have even more events featuring food from our rich cuisine such as pahlava, dolma, and of course traditional tea. We also plan to organise a Novruz holiday celebration, səməni and traditional music obviously included. Most excitingly, collaboration with other Azerbaijani societies in the UK.
