Breaking The Glass Ceiling: A Celebration of Diversity & Strengthening Support

Join the University of Bristol’s BAME Students Network for an empowering evening of conversation, connection, and community at Breaking The Glass Ceiling, taking place on Tuesday, 29 April 2025, from 6:45 PM to 9:00 PM.

This special and casual event brings together a panel of inspiring professionals from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic backgrounds to share their journeys through the professional life —highlighting moments of resilience, cultural identity, and success. Together, we’ll explore the unique challenges faced by BAME individuals and open a wider dialogue around how universities and institutions can provide more meaningful support.

Following the panel, enjoy a relaxed networking session over chai and finger food—an opportunity for students to connect directly with speakers, ask questions, and build valuable relationships.

Targeted to BAME individuals but open to ALL students. Be amongst the first 30 students to sign up to secure a place!
