Originally emerging from African-American communities in Harlem during the 1920s and 30s, Lindy Hop is a dynamic form of swing dance. This partner dance involves a lead and a follow role and thrives on the exhilarating tempo of swing jazz music.
If this is your first foray into swing dancing, worry not! We kick off the night with a workshop crafted for beginners. Regardless of your background or dance experience, we welcome you to share in the joy and energy of Lindy Hop.
Feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable and allows your personality to shine—be it vintage swing attire or your own unique style. Just remember to opt for breathable fabrics, as the excitement heats up, so will you!
