Description

Who are we?

Bristol Vegan Vets (BVV) is a student-led community and support network for anyone studying a veterinary-related degree who identifies as an ethical vegan. However, anyone interested is welcome to join, regardless of their lifestyle or degree!

Our Aims:

  • To allow vegan Veterinary students to meet like-minded individuals.
  • To host and encourage discussions regarding ethical issues in the Veterinary profession.
  • To act as a safe space for individuals struggling with ethical dilemmas within their studies to speak freely.
  • To educate and encourage discussions amongst the Vet school and wider community.
  • To raise awareness about veganism and its role in the Veterinary profession.
  • To encourage the Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Nursing courses to become more open-minded and accepting of vegan students and vegan viewpoints.
