BristolSEDS is the society for all students who are interested in all forms of space exploration, a career in the Space Industry, technical space-based projects, or simply enjoy being around like-minded space-loving people. SEDS stands for Students for the Exploration and Development of Space - its a bit of a mouthful, we know!

• UKSEDS In-Orbit Service and Manufacturing (IOSM) at the Satellite Applications Catapult in Westcott

• Race to Space Rocket Propulsion competition
• Mach23 at Machrihanish Airbase in Scotland 
• National Student Space Conference 2023 in Manchester
• Airbus Defense and Space trip to Stevenage
• Coding and electronics workshop
• Openrocket (rocketry aerodynamic modelling) workshop
• Non-alcoholic socials
• Film nights
• Volunteered for the UK Space Design Competition in Cardiff
• Volunteered for the British Interplanetary Society's Reinventing Space Conference at Aerospace Bristol

As the Bristol branch of UKSEDS we represent all students who have an interest in and enthusiasm for space. The society is open to everyone from the University with a diverse range of courses represented (so many more than Aerospace Engineering!); you don't need any prior knowledge or experience!
