DnDSociety is the brand new society bringing all things Dungeons and Dragons to Bristol!

We love all things Dungeons and Dragons! DnDSociety is dedicated to the learning, playing and most importantly to the enjoyment of Dungeons and Dragons as a game and story-telling art form. Dice rolling and dungeon crawling is our bread and butter and we want to bring together new and old players to create an exciting and bright community.

What is Dungeons and Dragons?

Dungeons and Dragons AKA DnD is a co-operative story telling TTRPG (Table Top Role Playing Game). The first rule book was published in 1974, leaning on classic high fantasy genres, tropes and settings including Lord of the Rings. Now, DnD is in its 5th edition and has evolved into a limitless story telling medium which cultivates creative, emotional and tactical skills. It has exploded in popularity in recent years thanks to TV shows like Stranger Things and TTRPG shows like Critical Role and Dimension 20. Dungeons and Dragons can be anything! And starting is as easy as rolling a dice!

What Do We Do?

DnDSociety will run events which encourage and inspire all kinds of DnD players! We will run beginner friendly events like character creation tutorials, DMing workshops and One Shots. Towards the end of the year, as our members develop their skills and knowledge, we will run more advanced events. We will also be running themed pub crawls and craft nights throughout the year!
