We pride ourselves on having very competitive membership prices, particularly amongst sports clubs. We keep our prices as low as possible and our membership prices have remained at a similar price for several years. Your membership covers a vast array of costs which ensures a successful season at UBWFC! This includes FA Affiliation, insurance, league and tournament entries, facility access for training and matches, coaching, match day travel, match day officials, playing kit and many other expenses. Memberships are also used to supplement costs for club-wide events during the year and bulk orders, such as training kit.

UBWFC is an open and accepting club, welcoming all women (transgender and non-binary individuals included*) attending the University of Bristol. We are committed to having a diverse environment, encouraging involvement from people of all races, ethnicities, sexualities and gender identities. Our approachable, mature committee are completely intolerant of discriminatory language and attitudes, and are confident in communicating about any issues that may arise out of such. UBWFC is a lively club welcoming those of all standards and experiences, hoping to intensify everyone’s love and enjoyment of the game, whilst promoting the power and importance of diverse female environments.
* Whilst UBWFC welcomes all women, any individuals competing in BUCS competitions must adhere to the FA’s rules. The FA determine eligibility on a case-by-case basis, largely determined by blood testosterone levels.
UBWFC is committed to creating a sustainable surrounding and minimising the environmental impacts of our club. We strive to lower our carbon footprint by lessening the impact of our travel by cycling and car sharing as much as possible, as well as promoting recycling and the use of reusable bottles. We have also planted our own tree on The Downs as a representation of our commitment to making the world greener and more sustainable.
We have regular socials with lots of friendly faces, be sure to get involved!
