Description

Welcome to the University of Bristol Ladies Hockey Club! We are a friendly, competitive, high-achieving, and sociable club that suits a range of playing abilities; from beginners through to high-performance hockey, everyone is welcome.

All our BUCS squads (1s-6s) all train twice a week in addition to perfomance squad S&C training at our great facilities at Coombe Dingle. We offer the chance for players to play in many different levels of competitive hockey - teams 1- 6 all play in weekly BUCS matches on a Wednesday and Saturdays the 1s - 4s play in local leagues. We have an additional social 7th team who do not compete in BUCS or local leagues, instead having various friendly games throughout the year alongside more relaxed training every week. You can join the club through the link above.

Social:

Women's hockey offers a lively social environment, making it an excellent opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. Every week, we have a social on a Wednesday night in La Rocca, team curries, sober socials, pasta parties, baking, and so much more! the social side of the club is accommodating for all. In addition, we hold two annual black-tie dinners for the whole club and numerous other events such as alumni weekends, charity events, and an international tour in the summer. UBLHC has one of the busiest social calendars in the University: you will never be short of things to get involved with!
