We are a team of student volunteers, collaborating to write, edit, proofread, and compile articles into a cohesive, high-quality publication which spans topics across the life sciences. Whatever your strengths, you can get involved! We believe that science should be free and accessible to all, and hope that the creativity of our writers, coupled with the diligence and integrity of our editorial team, will inspire our readers to explore and engage with the life sciences.
We publish articles about any topic related to the life sciences, such as fascinating discoveries (old and new), opinion pieces on scientific controversies, or even interviews with faculty members about their research. To get a better idea of what our issues look like, you can find our latest issue below.
Though our primary focus as an academic society is working together to publish our magazine, we plan to hopefully host some editorial and writing workshops, so keep an eye out for updates this year.
Write for us – Any student (including members of our editorial team) can suggest an article they would like to write for us at any time, on a freelance basis. Articles can be written individually or co-authored with peers. To submit a proposal, fill out this short form.
Editorial team – Our dedicated team of students responsible for preparing articles for publishing. There are 3 roles within this team (editors, proofreaders, and designers), and members are not limited to a single one. We welcome anyone interested in joining our team to fill out our Editorial Team application form.
Membership of our society is free and open to anybody interested in our project, not limited to members of our Editorial Team or life sciences students. Join us to receive regular updates and information!
