Take-Aways from the SPUC Youth Conference 2025
Some of our members attended the SPUC Youth Conference at the end of February this year. This was truly a life-changing experience for us. Here, some of the attendees share their reflections.
This weekend was amazing as it allowed me to meet people from all walks of life who support _life_. While some of my friends were there, I met so many new people and feel so supported by the passion that they have for protecting people in vulnerable situations.
In particular, one workshop they put on stood out to me. We put ourselves in the shoes of the person choosing abortion and thought about some difficult situations that could cause them to make this decision. We learnt how to show compassion and grant a non-judgemental ear for people who have been in these situations and decided to carry through with abortions. This compassion will stay with me for life.
