The psychedelic research society is a platform for open discussion and a platform for the sharing of psychedelic research, culture and drug-related welfare.
We aim to address the taboo around psychedelic culture by building our enquiry from a foundation of shared experience, evidence-based research, and harm reduction. From this foundation, we aim to connect our members with a breadth of interconnecting themes from the cosmos to consciousness.
So whether you're a psilocybin psychonaut or simply psycurious, we encourage open-mindedness and open-heartedness as we explore the relationships between mind-altering drugs, plant medicines, the human condition, and beyond.
See you on the other side!
We want to make sure our events are as inclusive as possible, we try and run as many free events as we can, but that is only possible thanks to the support from our members. Buying a membership is a great way to ensure that we can continue to host our many speaker events, workshops and trips. For only five pounds you can support the society, and in return, you will receive a discount on all of our paid events like workshops or socials. Not ready to become a full member? Not a problem. The Psycurious membership option is completely free and still gives you access to our online community and keeps you up to date with our upcoming events.
We hold regular guest speaker events talking on a range of topics. The world of psychedelics is rich and diverse and our speakers reflect this. Past speakers have included doctors, scientists, artists, and poets whether it's the chemical compounds or the music and philosophy, whatever your niche, there's sure to be a speaker for you.
When we don't have speakers visiting, you can join us for pub socials, film screenings or workshops.
Information about upcoming events can be found on our social media accounts, events page, or by joining our WhatsApp community.

Bristol SU recognises that the costs of participating in student groups can be prohibitively expensive for some students. The Activity Hardship Fund was created to support those students who wouldn't otherwise be able to participate in their chosen activity due to the cost.
