Our summer formal, 2024.
ABOUT US
University of Bristol Synchronised Swimming Club was formed in March 2018. We pride ourselves in increasing the awareness of synchronised swimming in the university community, accommodating and welcoming all ranges of ability and experience; providing equal and diverse opportunities in a welcoming and friendly environment. Most of all, we want our members to have an amazing time and make the best friends!
Our sessions are run by coaches who invest a lot of time into ensuring that you have the best possible experience at UoB Synchronised Swimming Club. Whether you are new to the sport or have done synchro for years there will be plenty of opportunity for you to develop not only as an individual but for us to develop as a team.
It is our committee promise to you that all money spent on memberships will be fully invested back into our members, including FREE DRINKS, discounted entry tickets to events, venue hire, etc
Our main point of contact is on instagram @uob_synchro. Please feel free to message with any questions or concerns!
TRAINING SCHEDULE
This year we are aiming to develop a clear plan for training sessions so that we can build a strong foundation for the club. Within this, we want to work on developing skills, choreographing routines, and improving fitness levels!
Our 2024-2025 schedule!
All sessions take place in the SU Pool, Richmond Building.
Our B:Active partnership provides any student at UoB to participate in the Synchro Skills + Fitness session for free, every Wednesday. You'll learn basic synchro moves and skulls, whilst participating in fun swimming games. This is will run from Weds 18th September 2024.
Our Sunday sessions are exclusively for members, and this is where we will learn new moves, and put them into practise by creating routines.
Remember, only members are able to attend our weekly socials and formals.

FAQS
What do I need to bring with me to the sessions? Please bring a swimming costume and towel. The club has nose pegs you can borrow, or purchase for £2. Ideally, you should bring goggles too.
I am not very flexible, is that ok? Of course it's ok. Many of us could not even touch our toes before synchro (and still can't)! In fact, flexibility is not a requirement for synchro but it does help. But we have specific flexibility sessions to help with that!
