Join us for our big ball of the year! There will be dancing, music, delicious vegetarian and vegan food, and cake!

We will celebrating the start of LGBTQ+ History Month with this ball, which will be held in the Anson Rooms.

What's included?

Entertainment: Bristol University Jazz Orchestra will be providing live music, followed by a DJ to end the night.

Food: We have Stoked Food catering for us, with bean and lentil chilli, served with rice, and nachos served with guacamole, salsa and nacho cheese, followed by an assortment of traybakes (think brownies, millionaire shortbread, lemon cake!) (dietary requirements can be catered for)

A photobooth, with the photos available online around a week after the event

Anson Rooms Bar will also be open for you to buy your own drinks, and we will be selling raffle tickets to raise money for a Bristol based LGBTQ+ Charity!

We are encouraging everyone attending to dress up as much as they feel comfortable with, it's meant to be fun so your comfort comes first!

Accessibility Information:

The Anson Rooms is an accessible venue in the SU Richmond Building with step free access fully available. There are good travel links from city centre and parking spots available nearby. All toilets on the floor of the Anson Rooms will be gender neutral on the night of the ball, and there is a disabled toilet on the floor as well.

We are aware that this is one of the priciest events we put on in the year, and we don't want cost to prohibit people attending, so please get in contact with us either by email or on our instagram (@uoblgbtplus) if this is the situation as we have a small number of free tickets.
